Matthew Parent is a mediator and professional with over a decade of experience in facilitation, environmental management, and conflict resolution. As the Principal and Founder of Earth Resolve Solutions, he empowers communities and organizations to tackle environmental challenges through consensus building, conflict resolution, climate action strategies, water stewardship, and social impact initiatives.

Matthew's work with diverse stakeholders has led to improved public policy and positive environmental outcomes. Bilingual in French and English, he has successfully negotiated with multinational companies, led multi-stakeholder dialogues, and contributed to public consultations on environmental issues.

With degrees in Integrated Water Resources Management and Justice Studies, Matthew approaches complex issues with an interdisciplinary lens, excelling in relationship-building and culturally appropriate solutions. His commitment to supporting communities most impacted by the climate crisis is evident in his work across the Arctic and beyond.

Before founding Earth Resolve Solutions, Matthew worked with provincial, territorial, and national governments, as well as international humanitarian organizations. He is trained in Agile methodologies and has completed conflict resolution training at the Harvard Program on Negotiation.

In his spare time, Matthew is learning to dance bachata, enjoys cooking, and hikes with his dog on weekends.
